Queensland Government Mining Journal (QGMJ)
From its first publication in 1900, the Queensland Government Mining Journal is now Australia's longest running mining publication.
It is wholly produced by the Queensland Government, through the Mines section of the Department of Natural Resources and Mines.
The journal's focus is on the mining and petroleum industries in Queensland. Its stories are of interest to those involved in these industries and those wishing to know more about how government helps mining to prosper in this state while at the same time balancing the state's other interests, and how industry and government are working together.
It gives information on government initiatives, government policy, legislation, current projects, major developments, products and services, industry trends, geological reports, and - importantly - safety and health in the mining and petroleum industries.
The journal is now produced electronically and emailed to subscribers.
